SPRING SPRINKLER START UPS 2022!!!!

It’s that time of year and another season is upon us!
Here’s some quick info about our start up service:

-5 POINT INSPECTION- includes checking the main line for leaks, a full walkthrough of each activating zone of irrigation, directional head and spray adjustments for volume and square footage, creation of a custom program to save you 30% of your total water usage, full inspection of your system’s electrical signal and implementation of our created program.

FAYETTEVILLE, BENTONVILLE, and ROGERS residents will also need to have the yearly backflow test performed as per city requirements. We are licensed to perform repairs and testing on RPZ assemblies.

SPRING START UP SERVICE, if you’re a Fayetteville resident is $130.00.

So it’s been a while since we have posted anything, which is my fault, but it’s not for lack of ongoing projects. This one just happens to be at my house. I always wanted to build a garden for my bonsai. Somewhere to have space and time for meditation. So instead of hauling off a wood pile that I had been keeping for projects that I said I’d never get to, we turned it into something warm and inviting. I did doubt that I still had it in me and without any set plan we just started creating space and used as much of the leftover wood that we possibly could as to not haul it off and this is what came of it. Make sure to flip through all of them. More to come when it’s finished!

We haven’t posted in a while so here is some catching up. Below is one of our most frequent clients’ house that we installed Christmas lights on for the first time. We provided the lights and installation for all of the lighting from top to bottom and it has produced some great pics and quite a few serious inquiries. We have been asked if we would care for the pics to be published in advertising as well. It’s been a great property and an even better client.

The “cooler” temps this week ended up being a disappointment. Cooler temps do not equal rain either, as there isn’t any in the near future. It’s still August and we have a little ways to go, so please call us if we may be of service. Enjoy the cool and fall like morning!

It is May 18 and it’s starting to feel like Spring! We have been making our early rounds in northwest Arkansas and will continue to do so. Backflow requirements from the city of Fayetteville are being issued this week, and another round will come in the next few weeks as well. If you need assistance or service, please contact us.

Very exciting!!! We added another truck to our service department. This Friday we are getting the new company logos and signage for Smart Rain Irrigation and Lighting Co installed. You will definitely see the new truck coming, and you will see that we mean business!! Spring 2020 is here!! Unfortunately this spring has also brought with it an amount of fear and concern as Coved-19 continues to sweep through the U.S..
Start up services for residential irrigation systems will continue as scheduled, despite the growing concerns. We will abide by the recommended practices to minimize the possibility of spreading the virus.
Our service has always been an “auto pilot” type of service. One call or email to our office will get you scheduled, and with a few easy to follow instructions we will get your property serviced seamlessly leaving behind only a door hanger to let you know we visited, and an irrigation system that has been inspected, backflow test completed where applicable, and ready for use in its entirety.
We ask that everyone stay safe, practice social distancing, and use sanitizer often to reduce the spread of this virus. We will get through this the same as we have gotten through all other tragedy’s and challenges, because that’s part of what makes us the country that we are. God bless all of you, stay safe, and keep us in mind when getting ready for Spring 2020.

My foreman Mike, programming decoders and putting the finishing touches on our latest Hunter Two Wire installation. This installation is an entire apartment complex, in Rolla, MO courtesy of Gethsemane Lawn Care. 39 zones and over 900 heads!! Special thanks to our local supplier, Keeling Co., in Springdale, AR for sending us with everything we needed to finish up on time. Thank you Cory Scates, Josh Sherrill, Mark Keeling, for always getting us sent out of town with the right materials and equipment!!

The city of Fayetteville has decided to enforce the law that requires homeowners to have their backflow tested. We are certified and are doing tests all over northwest Arkansas. Rates start at 65.00 per test, but we are doing them at a discounted rate for multiples within the same neighborhood. Call for details. 901-246-4464

Spring is here! Our irrigation start up season has officially begun. We have installs in progress, backflow tests, system repairs, renovations, just about everything one can think of irrigation wise going on across Northwest Arkansas. Here’s a little glimpse into what we have been up to this month...Our new friend and Head Groundskeeper Susan, at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs asked us if we would accept their request to install an all new irrigation system at the hotel. The entire property! Because we have had a relationship with the hotel and many others in that area we gladly accepted the challenge and it’s one of the largest installs we have done to date. It will be close to 45 zones when completed. It has its many challenges, and appreciating the surrounding landscaping has made it difficult. The pics below are just the first phase of the project. Phase 2 begins Thursday!!
