We love learning about cool local places and things happening in our area. If you haven't stopped in yet, it's a pretty killer gallery at 1014 Atlantic Ave. The art is a compelling mix of local and international artists. Definitely worth a visit. They have a Holiday Show happening tonight! That's where we'll be. 🤙🏽

Looking for ideas on what colors to paint your bathroom? Two colors that surprised us on the list were pink and black!

When we saw this beautiful pink bathroom designed by with , we fell in love. We are pretty excited to be a part of this awesome event happening tomorrow, Saturday August 27th from 4-9pm at the Skate Park at Main Beach. Come hang out and see the skaters compete, grab some food, and hear some music, all brought to you by .

Friends of Fernandina Skate Park is a non-profit organisation aimed at promoting healthy physical outdoor activity, developing bonds and encouraging self-esteem through the expansion of our skate park into a safe, challenging and inclusive park. Through FFSP’s Boards for Boarders (B4B) program they are investing in our youth by providing skateboards that they would not normally be able to get to help encourage a healthy, active and engaging lifestyle that will build character and develop bonds that will last a lifetime.

This was a multifaceted and fun project to work on... not to mention a beautiful home! We started by soft washing the cedar shake with cedar wash. This product is great for deep cleaning the wood without harming it and really brightens it up. We then sealed it with cedar seal to protect it.

Next, we refreshed the paint on the house and shutters. Their doors were a beautiful mahogany but we're beginning to look sun-faded so we did a light washing, sanded, and re-stained their doors with . We are pretty happy with how this all turned out! Swipe through to check it out.

There is a plethora of knowledge behind a good paint job, as well as proper equipment to do the job effectively and efficiently. Testing substrates for proper moisture and pH levels to absorb and hold paint is an important step in a long lasting and quality paint job.

This is a great example of what an improvement a paint job can make while also maintaining the value of a house with a protective layer on the outside!

Our climate can be brutal on a house's exterior. The rain and moisture in the air creates a perfect climate for water damage, wood rot, and mold. UV exposure and the corrosive elements of salt and wind contribute to the deterioration of your home’s top coat.

We can not emphasize enough the importance of protecting your home, and your investment with a good paint job every 5-7 years, and sometimes shorter if your exterior is exposed to the elements close to the beach.
