Today was a very heartfelt day. Through this door many memories have been left behind and upon opening it new ones were made. I got a call this week to correct and paint said door.
This door originally belonged to the home of a very special woman ( Joyce Siegmeister ) who was like a second grandmother to my cousins and I, along with other family members from when we were kids.
When I first started doing these kind of jobs with my uncle, she always took care of us and offered side jobs. Which in return taught us responsibility. She also attended all our family gatherings and much more.
The call I got was from her surviving son. It really meant a lot to be the one to take care of this kind of job for someone so special. It’s crazy how the universe goes round. I put my heart and soul into each and every job I do.
