On this project in Ewing Township, our crew excavated approximately 1,000 sq.ft. of unstable soil to a depth of nearly 12 inches, hauled all unsuitable material off-site, and installed 8–10 inches of NJDOT certified RCA aggregate to create a solid, long-lasting foundation before paving began.

Once the base was properly graded, compacted, and prepared for drainage, we machine-laid 2.5 inches of 9.5M64 asphalt on 2,350 sq.ft., professionally compacted for a smooth, seamless finish built to withstand New Jersey weather and traffic for years to come.

Today, the team at Richard’s Paving & Sealcoating LLC had the honor of restoring and repaving the entrance roadway at Milford Union Cemetery off Route 519 in Milford, New Jersey.

This project required precision, preparation, and attention to detail to ensure a long-lasting, smooth riding surface that will withstand years of traffic and harsh winter conditions.

✔️ Power swept and cleaned the entire pavement surface
✔️ Trimmed and removed all vegetation overgrowth along pavement edges
✔️ Applied a CRS heavy tack coat to ensure maximum adhesion between the existing and new asphalt
✔️ Installed a leveling course to restore proper grade and smooth out uneven areas
✔️ Milled all transition points to eliminate bumps and prevent snow plows from catching during winter maintenance
✔️ Machine laid and compacted 2½” of 9.5M64 driveway mix for a clean, durable finish

We removed a single layer of existing asphalt, prefilled the remaining asphalt to allow for a smooth even installation of the final 2.5 inch layer of 3/8 fine driveway mix asphalt. This driveway was installed for a home builder that we work for in King of Prussia, PA
