Cleaning out some old stuff and came across this big, curved metal piece. Looks like it used to be attached to something, but I have no clue what its job was. 📸

I am sometimes pretty close with a quarter. I have a plastic laundry basket I really like and have had it for 20 years. The plastic handles on the end finally broke completely, so I had some odd bits of wood in the shop and decided to turn new handles. Had some small wood screws to hold them in place. The screws are maybe 40 years old. No bananas in the laundry basket. Cranky ol' man, retired 17 years from railroad.
