So check it out!!! Bam!!! Some before and after shots of this double 10'x12' composite beauty! This material is Fibron, bungalow. And ultra lox aluminum railing. This space went from, "I'm scared to get on it" to, "I'll be out on the deck!"

So .. hello all. Tasked with tear down and redo... We got at this one. Phew .. anyone who works outside knows it's been pretty hot and if you start early... THOSE BUGS!!! Felt like I was getting eaten alive every morning. It's not hard to see, this deck(s) is well past it's life. Enter Rust and Levesque! So just a little change for this project! As you can see, in the before pics.. this customer had some first or second generation composite decking w matching old fashioned composite rails... It was definitely past the time for an upgrade!! Pretty sure we actually heard the framing give a huge sigh as we stripped off the old heavy and heavily worn materials! We added some outter edge framing and brought everything , table top, flat with center bridging. Removed the stairs from the back and added a new custom set to the side. This created a much more usable area for furniture rather than cutting off the longer part of her deck. We added a small grill deck for storing, out of the way, but still in the mix!! We always let the decking lay for a while... Let it acclimate, before applying. To other deck guys... Try that! You'll really appreciate how much better it goes during the application process! Just over night or a weekend is all it takes.
After decking and rail, the exterior wrap! This is becoming more and more popular ... And it's easy to see why... so sharp! Block out the critters... Keep the pets,and kids out from under there, and all of a sudden you have a great storage space, out of sight!!

Challenge #1... What the heck do we even call this shape??!!! We went with a "poly-hexa-octa-hedron" haha!! Challenge 2- figure out these wacked out angles!
The before and after pictures really tell the story anyways! This deck was very aged and needed some lovin! I'm aware that the gloomy snow and the beautiful warm sunrise play a big part in the difference of how the pictures feel, but this is now a beautiful deck, in any weather!! This is Fibron, bungalow decking and bronze Ultralox,Alta railing..sharp combo!
You're cutting it close if you haven't called !!! Let's get that new deck by summer. Rust and Levesque Custom Decks will get it done!

Well.. here it is.. all done. We battled the weather through this small 10x12' addition. She turned out sharp! You'll notice we changed out their old 5/4x6 railing top cap for new, routed and sanded 2x6" top caps. Much nicer, much more stout. We threw that in because the thicker board makes such a nicer rail. Befores and afters as I promised, from the aerial view.

Viola!! There she is in all her glory! This deck really turned out so nice! No frills, just pure usable space. I think this one speaks for itself. This is Fibron, Bungalow decking, and Bronze Ultralox, Alta (square top) railing. Sharp combo! Another one down with a very happy customer.

I didn't wanna give ya too much all at once, so here's just a nibble.. just a teaser taste of this sharp deck. If the weather acts right for one more day we'll be done tomorrow, and the finished project pics as well!
