If you haven’t, you may want to consider trying them. These sweet little fruits burst brightly in the mouth with surprising flavor, calling to mind something almost tropical.
The or Is born on a fast growing and productive annual with a growth habit not unlike a bush type tomato. A great choice to let spill over your or dangle from a hanging and watch those little paper lanterns fill with the marble sized yellow fruit. When they reach their sweetest they will drop from the vine. Protected in their papery husks, you gather them from the ground (hence their namesake). Kids love unwrapping them like golden candy drops and they are excellent dehydrated. We have some great plants right now at Browns, come on down!

For those of you that have been thinking about and asking about trees, so are we! Our expected delivery of trees has been put off until the end of next week (5/21-22) due to factors out of our control. But remember it is and later is safer when it comes to surprise freezes! 🥶 happy spring dreaming and scheming everyone.
