When I was framing this bathroom, at least a month ago, I had to frame for the shower niche. After a bunch of head scratching, measurements, cussing, more head scratching, and additional measurements, I was pretty sure I had it right. I didn't really get to see if it all worked out with the tile size until I pulled the tape today. I'm happy to say that it all turned out perfect.
I just wish we had gone with a lighted niche, but Schluter, as of now, only offers them in THEIR sizes. They're not yet customizable.

Shower is waterproofed and I started the flood test. Let's see if the water is still at the line in 24 hours. I guarantee it WILL be. :)

I don't mind that my "pod partner" and I did a very bad job with the "Hands On" projects we had for the last couple of days.
This is what happens at a trade workshop. We learn new products and how to utilize them. This workshop was fun. Ignore the messiness. The classroom lasts longer than the hands-on, and my "pod partner" was VERY new to the trade. I leaned a LOT, though, and just imagine all of this mocked up shower and vanity covered in tile.
These workshops are all about creativity, innovation, code compliance, luxury, and customer satisfaction.

NEVER STOP LEARNING!!!

The things you find...
I'm so glad I'm able to find these things. I'll NEVER understand how it passed inspection, but that was 11 years go.
It was, probably, 130° in the attic at that time of day, but I cleaned it up. Hey, I'm used to it. I CHOOSE to live in the South.

Another tub replacement and tile job on the books. I thought this would be the last bathroom for a little while. I might have been wrong. :(
