Fixed this old amana unit today.. 1984 model!! I can confidently say, they definitely don’t make them like they used too! All they needed was a new condenser fan motor and it’s still cooling great! They’re signing up to get on our twice a year maintenance agreement so they can keep it cooling as long as possible!

Another install complete! Brand new Goodman 2ton split system heat pump! Getting much better airflow, colder air coming ...

Getting much better airflow, colder air coming out the vent, but best off all their power bill will be lower now that they have a more efficient unit! Some before & after pics of two cleanings on the same home, from today! Also had to replace the condenser fan motor & fan blade on one of the units, which was the original issue and during the repair i noticed how dirty the coil was and the client decided to have both of their units cleaned! & notice we clean the WHOLE unit, the panels and all, not just the coils! Both units are now cooling great!

Before and after pics of a much needed split system upgrade we just completed! The original unit was in VERY rough shape due to a lot of problems stemming from incorrect installation of a used system by another contractor.. air handler didn’t even have a secondary drain pan or any screws in the doors, just tape! Thank goodness the drain line never backed up and overflowed, would’ve ruined their ceiling! Over the last few years we’ve managed to keep the system going by replacing both TXVs and changing the indoor TXV to a piston, cutting out and fixing a lot of kinks in the copper tubing, and some other repairs.. but the evaporator coil had a significant leak that wasn’t repairable and the homeowner decided to go ahead and upgrade to a new system and they’re so much happier for it! Brand new AC system, correctly installed this time, relocated to the side of the home and off of that old platform! Units come with a 10 year all parts warranty, 2 year labor warranty, and will save them money on their power bill! ✔️ ❄️ ☀️
