Another exciting piece of this new build project is coming together — the bathrooms and plumbing fixture selections. ✨

I presented the client with three different design directions, and she ultimately chose this warm, timeless option featuring rich tones and traditional-inspired fixtures. The goal was to create bathrooms that feel elevated and luxurious while still feeling inviting and connected to the natural surroundings of the home.

Hammered copper sinks, warm bronze plumbing fixtures, and a sculptural soaking tub bring texture, depth, and character into the space, while soft neutral finishes help keep the overall design balanced and refined.

I love how this concept feels both classic and cozy — creating a bathroom that feels less like a utility space and more like a personal retreat. 🤎

Another project for a growing family — this time transforming the laundry room into a space that feels both more functional and a little happier to be in. ✨

Living surrounded by nature, it felt fitting to bring some of the outdoors inside through soft green cabinetry and warm natural finishes. Instead of the laundry room feeling purely utilitarian, the goal was to create a space that feels calm, organized, and enjoyable to use every day.

Function was just as important as aesthetics in this design. Thoughtful cabinetry, designated storage, and built-in bins for sorting laundry will help simplify everyday routines and make the space work harder for this busy family.

I presented the clients with two design options — both beautiful in different ways. Now the big question is… which one do you think they’ll choose? 👀🤍

Designing for growing families always requires thoughtful planning — especially when one room needs to serve multiple purposes. ✨

This project for a family in Green Mountain Falls near Pikes Peak was designed in preparation for welcoming a new addition to the family. The goal was to create a shared children’s bedroom that feels warm, timeless, and functional while giving both kids room to grow for years to come.

Luckily, the room had a generous layout, which allowed us to thoughtfully incorporate everything growing children need into one cohesive space — sleeping areas, study space, book storage, desks, and a dedicated play area all within one room.

Classic navy furniture paired with warm natural wood tones creates a polished yet playful feel, while built-in storage keeps the room organized and practical for everyday life. Sports-inspired accents add personality and make the space feel fun without overwhelming the design.

The result is a flexible, elevated children’s room designed to evolve beautifully alongside this growing family. 🤍

A new chapter calls for a completely new feeling. ✨

This home, located in a beautiful neighborhood overlooking Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, is a major lifestyle shift for the clients. After living in a rural Colorado home filled with traditional mountain cabin style, they wanted this new space to feel softer, lighter, and more contemporary while still feeling warm and inviting.

Many of the rustic furnishings from their previous home will live downstairs, but the upstairs was designed intentionally different — elevated, calming, and refined to reflect this fresh season of life.

One meaningful piece they are bringing with them is a stunning horse painting that will live in the stairwell, creating a beautiful transition between the old and the new. The challenge was finding selections that complemented the artwork and honored their love for Colorado living without leaning too heavily into the rustic mountain aesthetic.

The result is a warm mountain modern retreat that feels timeless, sophisticated, and deeply personal. 🤍

When preparing a home for resale, strategic updates make all the difference. ✨

This client is getting ready to sell a home that hasn’t been updated in decades, with the goal of maximizing both appeal and profit. As a designer, I always say the best return on investment comes from focusing on kitchens and bathrooms first — these spaces have the biggest impact on buyers emotionally and financially.

For this project, we’re creating an elevated timeless contrast by blending warm neutrals, crisp whites, and black accents for a look that feels both fresh and classic. White tile, quartz countertops, subway backsplash, and updated fixtures bring a clean, modern feel, while warm beige cabinetry keeps the home feeling inviting and approachable.

To tie everything together, the entire home is also receiving a fresh paint update with Alabaster walls to brighten the space and create a cohesive flow throughout.

The goal is a move-in-ready home that photographs beautifully, attracts more buyers, and increases perceived value from the moment someone walks through the door. 🤍

Catching up on project updates ✨ My workload has doubled in recent months, and while it’s definitely been an adjustment, it’s such a good problem to have.

Here’s a look at a recent concept board for a beautiful home in Woodland Park with incredible views of Pikes Peak. This family is downsizing and relocating from Texas to Colorado to be closer to their daughter and enjoy the mountain life. They wanted a home that felt collected, artistic, warm, and full of personality — not basic mountain modern or anything boring.

This concept blends rustic mountain lodge warmth with refined Southwestern influences to create a space that feels grounded, inviting, and sophisticated. Rich leather, weathered wood, natural stone, and tribal-inspired textiles layer together to evoke timeless craftsmanship, organic texture, and elevated comfort.

The wife is incredibly energetic and artistic, and after really taking the time to get to know the family, I feel like round two absolutely nailed the vision. And yes — the daughter was especially happy she got her pop of color in the rug ❤️

Loving Living Local, Spring Cleaning Week Tip #3: Kitchen Organization 🍽️✨

A clutter-free kitchen makes cooking faster, easier, and way more enjoyable. My favorite way to organize is with sleek bamboo drawer and cabinet organizers that keep everything in its place while looking beautiful too.

Must-have organizers:
✔️ Pot & pan lid + Tupperware lid holder
✔️ Ziploc bag organizer
✔️ K-cup organizer
✔️ Plastic wrap + foil cutter organizer

A few extra kitchen organization tips:
✨ Use clear bins in the pantry so snacks, baking items, and spices are easy to grab
✨ Add drawer dividers for utensils, gadgets, and measuring tools
✨ Use tiered risers in cabinets so nothing gets lost in the back
✨ Declutter duplicate items you never use and free up valuable space

Small changes can make a huge difference in how your kitchen functions every day. Which area of your kitchen needs the most help right now? 👇
