I am Kate Davenport, the Principal Designer and proud owner of Portico Interior Design. I have always been passionate about creating spaces that evoke emotion and inspire meaningful experiences. My journey from being an elementary school teacher to pursuing my dream of becoming an interior designer has been a profound and transformative one. Education has been my foundation, and I graduated with a

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the prestigious Design Institute of San Diego. This academic background provided me with a strong design sensibility and a keen eye for detail which I apply to every project at Portico Interior Design. What sets my work apart is my unique blend of timeless style with a hint of edge. I believe in creating spaces that not only stand the test of time but also push the boundaries of conventional design.
