Something important to know. The moisture v***r barrier (MVB) is always its own separate coat. We don’t color it and we don’t broadcast flake into it, because that weakens it. The color coat and final finish always go on top as separate layers, the way the system is designed.
Yes, doing it this way costs more. The crew has to come back another day just to finish the floor. But we’re committed to it so our customers get the best floor we can install.
Notice the exposed aggregate? That’s from a very thorough grind. We took down the high spots to get a flatter, more even surface. Every patch of heavy aggregate you see is a spot where we cut down a high spot.
