Spent the day at the Bowling Green, KY Bourbon and Brewfest making new friends. Woodford, Rabbit Hole and Corsair were very nice to talk to. Would like to thank Wes White and Jay Fowler for allowing me to make them some gifts for their years of service that I used as examples to break the ice with all the new friends. We are practicing our sand carving skills on some champagne flutes just in time for Wedding Season. For a little fun we are trying to use a Rock N Roll theme. Jack & Diane have one reserved, as do Bobby and Janis . Need a little help for the other two we have. Suggestions? We will be thinking of a prize while you are thinking of names. Please remember, when it comes to the prize, it won't be much right now because we are still starting out and every penny counts :)

Its time to cut bait or fish?!? As I drive over the creek every weekend day to get this business up and running along with Anthony, and through the Dundee Bottoms, for the last few weeks I have seen this Sand Crane picking though the bean fields trying to stay alive. Its struggle is a lot more severe than ours, but I understand what it is trying to do. I am grateful I get to try to make a living working in such beautiful country and wildlife. You do not get this working in a cubicle for a bank taking phone calls all day. Next weekend we are putting in our computer equipment and special lighting. We should have everything rolling in the next couple of weeks and we already have a couple of orders for engraved drinkware for some weddings this Spring. We are ready to do this and hope to be a service to you in the near future!

Hello! Its been nasty weather outside for awhile now and we have been incredibly quiet on here. Its because we have been very busy. You have seen a few posts of our sandblasting work, but our company name has Engraving and Plate in it. The sandblasting is side work. We have been busy getting our Sand Carving up and running. With Sand Carving, we will be able to do large scale engraving of wood, glass, masonry, tile and many other things. Part of this process needed a computer office and a room we will not go into detail about :) Trade secret! Posting a few photos to show that we just about have the office in the shop ready and that soon ( very soon) you will be seeing examples of Sand Carving. There are not too many businesses that do this type of engraving. There are very few at all in the State of Kentucky. We are very excited to bring this technology to Ohio County and the surrounding area. Its about to get interesting!

Hi Everybody! It's been awhile since we spammed.....I mean, informed you of how things are going here at Rough Creek Engraving & Plate. We are still building our work space and production office for Sand Carving, but our Sand Blasting operation just had its first customer. Please check out the quality of our work below and continue to spread the word about us. Our first customer came to us from somebody that had already liked our page !
