As we begin filling up our greenhouses and preparing for another spring season, we want to let everyone know that Tri-City Greenhouse will not be selling vegetable plants this spring.
We are proud of the fact that 100% of the plants we sell are grown right here in our greenhouses. There are many benefits to this business model but we have limited space and resources available during the growing season. As our small business has grown over the past 12 years, it has been a challenge to keep up with ever increasing demand.
Our main interest has always been producing a variety of ornamental annual and perennial plants. The decision to discontinue our vegetable plants was made with the goal of being better able to keep up with and improve our offerings in the ornamental plant categories.
We know our vegetable plants have been popular and appreciated by many. The decision to stop selling them was not made lightly. We will continue to grow and sell a wide variety of flowering annuals, hanging baskets, perennials, and herbs. We truly appreciate all the business and support that you have given Tri-City Greenhouse and enjoy being able to grow and sell our plants here in Rutherford County.
Tri-City Greenhouse will open for this spring season on March 13th, 2025. We are located at 1629 Oakland Road, Forest City NC.
