This past Saturday we were able to celebrate our employees and their families at our annual Company Picnic! This is always a day we look forward to each year. We appreciate the hard work and dedication our team gives day in and day out, and we couldn't be more grateful for the team we have!

It's always an honor to participate in the River Forest Memorial Day parade and have the sponsored youth baseball team ride along in the truck. Today we stop and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice serving and protecting our country for our freedom. We honor those who serve or have served, and are grateful for the courage and bravery of the men and women in the military.

We had the privilege once again to host the Forest Park Chamber Annual Meeting this past Wednesday night. It’s always a great event that brings the community together for a night of food, fun and fundraising. Thanks to all who attended and made the night memorable! We had a great time at the 29th Annual Forest Park St. Patrick's Day Parade! ☘️ It was on the cooler side today, but so many people braved the cold and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces along the way. We are proud to be able to participate in this great community event every year!

Since 2003, we have been delighted to provide the McAdam Nursery and Garden Center as a vital resource for the community. In addition to serving a variety of retail customers, this has been the setting for countless memories for family-focused events like our annual Pumpkin-Palooza.

But as we prepare for our 47th season servicing your landscape maintenance, design and installation needs, economic and consumer trends have led us to a difficult decision: the permanent closure of walk-in garden retail business, effective this spring.

The good news is that McAdam Landscaping remains strong and we are eager to launch into another season. With these market changes, we are focused on moving McAdam Landscaping in a direction that will best serve our customers’ needs.

In addition to our landscape services, we will still offer bulk delivery services for your compost, topsoil, mulch and gravel needs. Pre-arranged pick-up will also be available.

To all our loyal retail customers, we thank you for your trust and patronage over the past two decades. Building on the tradition that we started in 1979, we will continue to be here for your landscaping needs.
