Customer wanted to bring a Victorian look to thier home by boxing in the eaves. I explained to them we could achieve close to the same look at more than half the cost, by carrying the fascia boards around the ends and wrapping them back to the house. Then they could put the Ornamental gutters to achieve a Crown Mould look. Think we accomplished our goal! The original portion of this house was built in the 1920s in Sebastopol!

Little trick if you have small damaged area on your lap or sheet siding. Drill a hole with hole saw large enough to remove the damaged area! Seal the shear wall with adhesive caulking if applicable! Match up pattern on a new piece of siding! Cut out with same size hole saw, Insert and caulk seam and hole. Let dry and paint!
