Today included picking up custom window treatments, sourcing wallpaper and fabric, and tracking down the perfect details for current projects. One of the most valuable parts of the design process is experiencing materials in person. While photos are a great starting point, nothing compares to seeing the true color of a fabric, feeling the texture of a rug, or sitting in a chair before making a decision.

A year ago, we transformed this guest bathroom into a private en-suite retreat designed with both comfort and style in mind.

One of the biggest upgrades was replacing the standard tub/shower combination with a walk-in shower. Not only did this create a more open and luxurious feel, but it also made the bathroom more functional and inviting for guests. With beautiful tile selections, updated fixtures, and a thoughtful layout, the shower became a focal point of the space while providing a spa-like experience.

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of discovering the perfect piece at an estate sale. ✨ Over the past several months, I’ve been slowly collecting unique vintage and antique finds for upcoming projects — each one carefully selected for its character, craftsmanship, and story.

One of my favorite parts of design is mixing these older collected pieces with new furnishings and textiles to create spaces that feel layered, timeless, and full of personality. The balance of old and new is what truly brings warmth and soul into a home.

Looking back on this window treatment install in Parker, TX! My clients have these gorgeous picturesque windows looking out to their backyard. Neutral shades layered with custom curtain panels in a subtle, textured fabric add function and beauty to the space. We did a lot of really fun design elements in this project.
