Wisconsin weather this was yesterday when it didn't know what it wanted to be... windy, cold, rainy, hot...just a reminder to folks we are still covering outside plants at night.

Beautiful day in the greenhouse. Life should never get so busy that you can't stop to enjoy nature. I understand this old fat bumblebee...just flitting around from house to house getting flowers to make more containers!

Hey all our Bennett's Greenhouse Folks!
Dave and I decided this year to advertise only on facebook and with word of mouth. We decided to save on that expense to keep our prices reasonable. During times of uncertainty and high costs we are doing all we can to give you more blooms for your bucks.
We feel we are stronger as a community and so we need your help to spread the word... Bennett's opening day is Wednesday April 29th 9:00 am to 7:00 pm!

Hello to all our Bennett's Greenhouse Folks

Spring is upon us...it is a reminder that Spring inevitably follows Winter.

Gardeners are healers; nurturing their fragile seedlings against a ravaging Nature and anxiously watching for that first seedling pushing it's way up to finally emerge, leaves outstretched to reach the sun.

Gardeners are optimists hence our belief that said seedlings will appear.

Gardening is therapy for your soul; it connects you to the earth and reconnects you to birdsong, the scent of lilacs carried on a warm Spring breeze , butterflies and wildlife.

Gardeners love the abundance of the food we grow, knowing that garden vegetables taste the best.

Gardeners are artistic embracing the diversity of the flowers decorating our yards and homes. Appreciating and accepting the differences. Shade, sun, dry, well watered, veggies, annuals and perennials. Knowing that the right environment for your plants will reward you with thriving plants.

Remember the old Farmers Almanac saying that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb ...so even though Winter fights to hang on Spring will come.

Let us all be gardeners for ourselves, our community and our nation. We are stronger together.

Praying for our nation, our volunteer service members and to all our neighbors who may need our support.
