For those handy people out there: a 3” cut off saw is a great multipurpose tool. No tool has paid off faster for me. On Friday it cut through staples, on Tuesday it cut a plastic guide for a closet door, Wednesday it cut through metal bar for a garage shelving unit. All of these things could have been done by something else but this little thing was a much more appropriate tool for the job.

Been working the last couple weeks at a remodel in Drake just about all the way to Estes Park. This is their front yard. I’ve seen elk or big horn sheep along the road on my way up and down every time I’ve gone up there. And what amazing weather we’ve had this fall. Loving this life.

I have had a lot of jobs, and some mornings I may just be clamping doors, but I like this job the best.

Garage work table IKEA hack. Take a 5x4 shelving unit and cut it in half. Put it on top of an osb board with some casters. Sandwich them with the left over osb running up the middle for added rigidity for the tabletop. Relatively so much easier and cheaper than making it out of plywood sheets. (Hot tip: uhaul moving boxes fit perfectly)
