Big thanks to Giovanni at Lumber Plus for the hookup.

Posted up at Maximo Grid House—DJ going, Brazilian barbecue, custom pizzas, sushi, desserts… all overlooking the track.

Giovanni at Lumber Plus outfitted this entire space with Maximo Ipe tiles and Maximo ThermoWood. It looks incredible.

They turned this into the place to be. VIP!!

Early mornings hit different when you’re The Deckmaster.

A lot to see—but this .50 cal stole the show. Absolute beast.

Price tag? Even The Deckmaster had to think twice.

Didn’t take it home—but we still walked out with some AR platforms, a few small arms, and a solid day all around.

Miami project in motion.

Front entry, garage door, side gates, soffits—wrapped in 1x6 Ipe, tongue & groove throughout.

Stainless steel fasteners. No shortcuts. No compromises.

Right now it looks good… once it’s oiled, it’s going to be on another level.

Key Biscayne. Waterfront property. Big name client.

I just walked a boardwalk built less than 6 months ago… and it’s already failing.

Boards separating. Screws snapping. Visible deterioration.

Why?

Drywall screws in Ipe.
Mixed framing—some pressure treated, some not.
Zero stainless steel hardware.

This is what happens when someone says:
“I have a guy who can do it for 50% less.”

No license. No insurance. No standards.

And now? They pay twice.

There’s a right way to build with Ipe—and this wasn’t it.

Don’t be that guy.

Back on the waterfront—Las Olas.

This one’s a 12x30 Ipe pergola, built with full stainless steel hardware from top to bottom.
Post bases, joist hangers, hidden connections… every detail matters on builds like this.

We’ve been a little quiet online—
but behind the scenes, it’s been nonstop.

Millions in Ipe and hardwood projects completed.
Millions more on the books.

We’re about to start showing everything.

Back in Pompano Beach 🌊

Another beachfront condo build — multiple IPE decks, built in phases.

These just received their initial oiling. Built with 5/4 x 6 IPE, stainless steel fasteners, matching IPE plugs, and integrated LED lighting throughout.

Plenty more to come on this one…

We’ve got a $500K+ build kicking off in Palm Beach and multiple $50K–$100K IPE projects underway across Florida.

A lot of guys say they build IPE. Few actually know how to do it right.

Fresh delivery just landed from the mean streets of Glendale Heights, Illinois—straight from FastenMaster.

This is their deck frame coating. Rolls on like paint, seals and waterproofs your joists, and eliminates the need for joist tape.

Huge shoutout to Anthony, Gavin, and the entire FastenMaster team for making this happen.

You’re going to start seeing this on our million-dollar builds—this is becoming a staple in the Deckmasters arsenal.

Full PVC decking, cable railing with espresso-toned infill, and integrated lighting throughout—clean, modern, and built to last in South Florida conditions.

Every fastener on this project matters. We ran the PAMFast system with Cortex for a seamless finish, backed by TimberLock structural screws to make sure this build isn’t just beautiful—it’s rock solid.

Now it’s time for the homeowner to bring it to life with furniture and final touches.

Barrett-Jackson in West Palm Beach never disappoints.

Took in the sights, ate well, and walked through some seriously clean builds. Thought I had a shot at a ‘56 Chevy… got outbid on this one....sold for $78K.

All good — that’s the game. Maybe next time I’m driving one home.
