Project Reveal: A new chapter for a storied classic. ✨
The scope for the design and detailing of the historic 130' Feadship Calypso was based upon honoring her classic pedigree while elevating comfort, functionality, and livability throughout.
In the main salon, refinished woodwork, a new headliner, and the restoration of the original basketweave parquet flooring set the foundation for a complete redesign. We rebuilt and reupholstered the sectional sofa, introduced new occasional chairs, specified custom area rugs, and designed a live-edge dining table alongside a leather-topped game table with matching chairs.
The owners’ office was refinished with new leather desk surfaces and carpeting, while the master stateroom was renewed with refinished wood, new carpeting, wallpaper, and polished stone to maintain its original character with a refreshed aesthetic. Guest and VIP accommodations received new finishes, fixtures, and wallcoverings, including a reimagined VIP ensuite where the tub was removed and replaced with an enlarged shower.
On the upper deck, we reconfigured the bar and converted the stew pantry into a day head, finished in teak and Dekton porcelain.
Throughout, Calypso reflects timeless craftsmanship enhanced by custom furnishings and cohesive detailing from stem to stern, remaining unmistakably Feadship. Stay tuned for more images!
