Had a frosty start to this week at 19 degrees. Little ice on the upland fields and a thin sheet on the wetlands. It’s not often this happens in central Florida. Glad warmer weather has made its way back. 🥶

Layout before planting a mitigation site in Sarasota. Lots of plants for this one. Be careful out there clearing property. The city might just catch you and force this type of thing on you, sometimes the neighbors are watching even harder.

A little trip to St Augustine yesterday. Can’t say it was for the usual reasons but I can say this area looks a little better now than it did.

Working with installing Bulrush on Lake George last week. Just shy of 32,000 new plants installed in various locations. This week we’re on lake Monroe doing more of the same.

Well, there it goes. Better to take it down and replace it than have to rebuild. New plastic is ordered and once we know we are in the clear for the remainder of the hurricane season we will get it back up. Not sure how many plants we’ll lose to this storm but hopefully it’s not too bad.

Completed a planting project in Tampa for Stage Door II out of Apopka this week. Pond Cypress, Laurel Oak, Wax Myrtle, Duck Potato, Maidencane, Soft Rush and Fakahatchee Grass. Looking forward to driving by this one in a few months to see the grass grown out.

Before and after of a lakeshore cleanup we conducted in Auburndale. Killed in place and removed 3 weeks post treatment. No more Cattails, Primrose Willow or Torpedo Grass. We took care to preserve the Sawgrass and Fragrant Water Lillies found beyond the Cattails.

We don’t always do residential landscaping but when we do you better believe you’re either a REALLY REALLY close friend, FAMILY or my CHURCH! Glad we could help still a little to go with some border and new sod and YES I will be glad when it’s done but thankful we could help these REALLY REALLY close friend(s) of ours. 12,000 pounds to be exact!
