5 things restoration techs wish homeowners knew before calling us:

1. The first 24-48 hours matter most. Water spreads fast, and waiting to call makes the damage worse.
2. You have the right to choose your restoration company. Your insurance can recommend one, but the decision is yours.
3. Document the damage before anything gets touched. Photos and video protect your claim later.
4. Shut off the water source if you can safely do it. It's the one thing you can do before we arrive.
5. Have your policy info ready when you call. It speeds up everything that comes next.

None of this is complicated, it's just easy to forget when you're standing in water after something goes wrong. That's why we're here to walk you through so you're never figuring it out alone.

A tarp stops new rain, but it doesn't dry out what's already inside.

Our thermal imaging shows moisture trapped behind the ceiling long after the tarp goes up, and the structural damage underneath tells the rest of the story. Tarps buy time, but they don't fix the problem.
