Another extremely happy client in Shadowood Preserve. The kitchen cabinets and center island cabinets were all freshly painted by the Ron's Painting crew. We used Sherwin Williams Emerald for the finish coat of paint. The center island paint color is Blueberry. We definitely added the WOW factor to this kitchen.

If it has been over 7 years that your home was last painted, keep in mind, you home could have this same problem. These are pictures of the cracks in the stucco that we patched before we begin exterior painting. This is how homeowners get water in their homes. Water can seep through the cracks and into the homes interior. It has been a while since this home was painted. Ron's Painting is sealing this home so it is water tight.

My clients in Fort Myers has water issues in their home and called many contractors to figure out where the water was coming in. They had drywall removed from the interior, they had to remove their wood floors, they had all the windows checked, then had hurricane windows installed. The homeowner sprayed water on the front of the home after windows were installed and was still getting water in the home. No one could figure out until Ron's Painting showed up and starting preparing the homes exterior for exterior painting. When we applied the chalk sealer to the stucco to seal in the chalky surface, the cracks in the front of the home appeared. There was 1 very large crack and two small cracks in the stucco above the living room window was how the water was getting into the home. After the chalk sealer dried, we then patched the cracks in the stucco with an elastomeric texture patch to seal in the cracks. Problem solved.

When you are working with clients picking colors and designs you have to see the whole picture. We not only faux finished the coffer ceiling in the great room in Salty Dog...we used the same color in a different finish to paint the center island kitchen cabinets to tie in all the colors. I had a long time client call me for decorating and painting advice. They wanted crown molding installed in two coffer ceilings. I recommended Christopher Thomas from Designing Spaces. Chris did an outstanding job installing the crown molding. Ron's Painting took it from there. In the master bedroom we painted the walls to compliment a metallic fauux finish in the coffer ceiling, painted the crown molding in white.
In the greatroom we painted the walls in a lighter blue, painted the crown molding in white then faux finished the coffer ceiling in the color Salty Dog in glitter paint.
WOW....

My Sanibel homeowner was having a problem getting someone to fix their pool deck. The last time it was painted they did not properly prepare the concrete surface. So Ron's Painting found a solution. We pressure cleaned the deck with extreme pressure with a special tip. We removed as much of the loose paint as possible. We then sealed the deck and painted the deck with 2coats of concrete stain to match the surrounding travertine deck. Turned out beautiful.

Ron's Painting enjoyed doing this project on Sanibel. We pressure cleaned the Palopi wood decks then applied a coat of oil based clear sealer to the decks and top of the handrails to enhance the wood grain. We then protected the decks, sealed the aluminum spindles and painted the aluminum spindles with a coat of Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane in a gloss finish. They now look like new.

Kitchen and bathroom cabinet painting is an art. Many painters spray paint the cabinets, doors and drawers in the homeowners home or garage. Which can be quite hazardous for the homeowner, if the painter uses the proper primer. Using the proper primer when painting kitchen and bathroom cabinets is the most important part in the process. If the primer does not adhere to the surface the finish coat of paint will end up peeling off. Ron's Painting always uses XIM bonding primer.
The professionals at Ron's Painting take all cabinet doors and drawers to our shop on Park Meadows in Fort Myers, and do the work there. Thus keeping the majority of the fumes, dust and overspray kept in our warehouse environment. Here we have a spray booth and an air conditioned drying room. The cabinet face, exposed sides, crown molding and base of the cabinets are all painted onsite, however we paint everything by hand, and when we are done the finish on the cabinets is a sprayed like finish to match the doors and drawers.
Please view the pictures of a kitchen we just painted in Shadow Wood Preserve in Fort Myers. The cabinets were originally stained in a oak stain that had faded extremely badly.

Rons Painting staff was preparing the kitchen cabinets in this condo in Shadowood Preserve for Painting. They were all washed down, sanded, wiped down to remove dust then primed with a bonding primer.

Busy morning at the shop for Ron's Painting we were spray painting a bonding primer on kitchen cabinet doors and drawers in my spray booth. They were all put in the air conditioned drying room at Ron's Painting to dry.

If your exterior vent for your cooktop does not close all the way ....this could happen to you.
Many mud daubers and wasps built their nests in the vent shaft and inside the kitchen cabinets above the stove. Luckily no buggies were home when we removed the old vent.
