Here’s the thing, we’re all imperfect human beings, which means that sometimes things don’t go the way you want them to on a project and you have to pivot.

A house can be beautiful, but a home is created through love, generosity, and community. 💗

I’m so excited to finally share a few photos of the finished living room and primary bedroom at the Ground Up Ministries home.

This project has truly been a labor of love, with countless days, late nights, and so many amazing people coming together to help bring it to life. I’m incredibly grateful to Clive Daniel for donating all of the furniture, along with the many donors who contributed accessories, finishes, and everything needed to complete the home.

Most importantly, this home will provide a safe and nurturing place for girls who have experienced unimaginable circumstances. It has been an absolute honor to play a small part in creating that space. 💛

✨ And I’m excited to share that Luxe Magazine will be featuring the home in their September/October issue, releasing September 8! Stay Tuned!! ✨

A little behind the scenes of this entertainment wall coming together! 👀✨

Lots of measuring, cutting, fitting, and adjusting to get everything just right. Here you can see the cabinets being cut and installed and the fireplace getting mounted into the custom built-in.

It’s always so satisfying watching a design go from drawings to the real thing! 🤎

✨5 random facts you didn’t ask for about me✨

1. My favorite movie when I was in elementary school was “Singing in the Rain” and a strong runner up was “Funny Girl”

2. Up until recent years, I killed every plant I looked at.

3. I eat pizza a minimum of once a week.

4. I’ve never been a night owl, I’m in bed and asleep most nights by 9:30 pm.

5. I’m 5’9” Tall. No- I did not play basketball or volleyball in school, my hand to eye coordination is actually pretty terrible.

Behind the scenes of a wallpaper installation ✨

Before the first panel goes up, there’s a lot of planning that happens behind the scenes. Today I met with the installers to verify wallpaper specs, review where each panel would be cut, and make sure everything was going in the right place.
