Spring has almost sprung which means we are back up and running for what should be another successful season!

This year will be a little different as I’m flying solo for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, I won’t be taking on any whole home renovations, full roofs or other projects of similar scope. Even still, RF can be your one stop shop for the following and more!

This home sits in a unique spot coming downhill that allowed storm water runoff to cut into the yard and driveway. The owner also had problems with local service providers and other workers using her driveway as a turnabout and damaging the curb stop that had been installed previously. We were able to provide a more robust, more aesthetically pleasing option and the homeowner was thrilled with the final product.

Sometimes the best option is the one you can afford. This elderly home owner has been facing threats of fines and hard deadlines by code enforcement to address her porch, steps, front yard and side gate. Widowed and in her 80’s, she wasn’t prepared or able to tackle all of this. For little more than the cost of materials, we were able to get the porch cleaned up and painted and cap the existing steps with a thin coat of a high strength concrete. It’s not the prettiest option as the steps under it don’t provide a good base to work off of but it was the quickest option and one that she could afford. It also gets code enforcement off her back. Now she has one neighbor helping with weeds and bushes and another neighbor helping rebuild the gate to her side yard.
