Abigail Pari Handmade, Culturally-Inspired Treasures out of . We welcome custom orders!

The Abigail Pari shop is a place where I wish to share Handmade, Culturally-Inspired Treasures with the world. I love working with my hands (my tools), learning about culture, current and ancient fashions, and seeing other's art forms and their making process. I started this shop as a place to offer my handmade treasures, as well as other's work since I love so many types of art and design. The sh

op currently offers pieces from myself (Abigail Pari) as well as pieces from Ian Crowe, my husband, as well as his father, Ira Crowe! We work entirely out of our homes in the Washington DC metro area and often collaborate, or look in awe at one another's work! Both of us are deeply inspired by nature and incorporate that influence into our work. We love to go hiking to find cool rocks or wood to use in our work. Traveling to different cities and terrains offers probably some of the best insight and I look forward to offering more and more listings that reflect our travels and look into nature's many landscapes and cultures. Be sure to 'Like' this page & our Instagram (.Pari) to get a closer look at our creative process, as well as get exclusive access to promotions, discount codes and sneak peaks on new items! Lastly, we welcome custom orders since the both of us love a good art challenge! Message me with details and we'll let you know if we're up for it! All the best and Happy Handmade Shopping!

I wanted to say thank you to all of our customers this past few months. I opened the shop back up after a hiatus of a few years and it is really ramping back up πŸ˜ƒ. We've been doing 100% custom orders until this past week when standard sized frame orders starting rolling in (pictured, our most popular item made by my husband). Every customer I've worked with has been so kind and easy to communicate with, so thank you! Every order helps support our family of five (pictured is us Halloween 2024) and the US handmade industry!

We recently had the pleasure to frame this original piece from artist Pat Viles out of Hickory, North Carolina. This unique double sided art piece obviously needed a double sided frame so both sides could be enjoyed and we were happy to deliver!

I looked the artist up after seeing the art that would go in it (which I loved). Turns out her father was a carpenter just as my husband is, who's also the designer and maker of this frame. She recently passed so we were even more honored to frame this special landscape.

If you have a special piece that you need framed, check out my or PM me your framing needs! https://www.etsy.com/shop/AbigailPari

The first of #2022 was big & beautiful ❄️! This was taken under one of my favorite trees in our backyard. The branches were hanging so low from the weight of the foot of snow we got - it was like a delicate curtain of branches 'n white. Then the wind blew & dusted my toddlers' faces with cold snow & they were NOT happy about it πŸ˜›. Reality check haha!

Pleased with the way this turned out & that my skills are improving 😁. This font was requested & much more detailed than the typical look that I do but I loved the challenge & end product. Do you like this font or my chunkier rustic one more?

Huge custom 19x26" made to display a map. I'm digging how this looked on our mantle, which my husband also made from leftover from our office, which he also made custom built-ins for. That's for ya 😁!

We make custom in virtually any size so just message me for a ! If you have a tricky thing to frame & need something different, message me & let's see if we can tackle the project! We've made frames for a thick wooden puzzle, a handwoven beaded tapestry, collectibles, memorabilia, & more!

When you've always dreamed of having blue (or green) eyes & realize there's a filter for this 🀯, sorta kinda did your hair for your kid's 3rd b-day/husband's b-day (hey, it's better than a ponytail), & are sporting a new tee from you make a reel & see if you're sort of hip πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

P.S. My DIY balayage turned out all right even after the pink faded which acted as a toner in the end! I did another reel with my pink hair btw πŸ’—. Next up is DIY layers & more in the back & on new shorter layers. When this will realistically get done while juggling my two shops, the house, & a 1 & 3 year old... no freaking clue.

Our Story

Welcome to my online boutique of handmade, culturally-inspired treasures. Everything is made by someone in my family. We are quite the creative bunch but with totally different styles and skills that I hope will bring you or someone you love joy.

I started this shop as a place to offer my handmade treasures, as well as other's work since I love so many types of art and design. It is no coincidence that I married someone who is also inspired in similar ways as I am, and so is his father, and all three of our work is featured in this shop. We all love nature and incorporate it into our work in different ways. We often go walking, hiking, and exploring and find cool rocks or wood that we use in our work or our surroundings lead to ideas of things to create. Traveling to different places - whether a new terrain or city is also inspiring, especially when you have a chance to absorb that culture and the artists within it.

I hope you'll follow me on social media where I share the things we create (including my babies :P ), the things that inspire me, and plain old fun stuff!
