Gwen Gutwein Art Gwen Gutwein Gwen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Indiana University, graduating with honors. Murals are created on location.

In addition, she studied painting in Washington, Utah, North Carolina, Florida, Greece, Italy, and Indiana. She has painted for many years and has won numerous awards. Many of her paintings are in private and public collections across the country. Currently, in her Fort Wayne, Indiana, studio she teaches private and semi/private art classes and paint oils and watercolors. Gwen has been working on

the Indiana Heritage Barn Project. As an Indiana Artist,Gwen is striving to capture, on canvas, at least two old historic barns from each county in Indiana, gathering the barn's unique history and showing the world Indiana's treasure. There are 92 counties in Indiana, 50 counties are in various stages of completion at this moment. The original barn paintings with histories are not for sale at this time. Many people have shown an interest in prints so limited addition, signed and numbered giclee prints on canvas are available and reasonably priced. Calendars are also available.

This barn painting is from Dearborn County and is in my HERITAGE BARNS OF INDIANA book. It is 18 x 36 inches, in oil and was painted plein air. The vantage point was a rather steep slope, my easel, supplies and I slipped downhill several times during my painting session. It was worth the inconvenience!
