Because who needs a social life when you can grow an urban jungle that’s wilder than your weekend plans? I was raised in Crowley where I am currently raising my two children with my husband. Being from a small country town, I have always had an affinity for the outdoors and the wild things that inhabit it. I am turning this realization into a reality with urban + wild by bringing tropical and exotic houseplants to my plant emporium at affordable, yet competitive pricing. After I drop the kids off at school and the house is quiet, I’ll sit in my tent with my coffee. It’s slow, it’s quiet, and everything feels soft again. Sometimes that’s all I need.

I can’t believe I haven’t shared this beauty before! This Anthurium Red Crystal x Forgetii is serving that bitch vibes. The way those raised, rippled surfaces catch the light is just mesmerizing—she’s sooo bullate ✨

This hybrid brings the best of both worlds—the bold flare of the Red Crystal and the signature lack of sinus from the Forgetii, all wrapped up in that lush, pillowy texture. She’s been a bit of a secret in my collection, but I think it’s time she got her moment in the spotlight.

This plant is pure perfection – with its deep, velvety leaves and dramatic heart shape, it’s like holding a masterpiece of nature in my hands. A true showstopper and an instant favorite in my collection!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Leighton for your unmatched care, dedication, and attention to every detail when it comes to their plants. You can feel the passion behind every leaf and the love poured into cultivating these incredible specimens. Knowing this plant came from someone who genuinely treasures the beauty of what they grow makes it all the more special.
As someone with a wonderfully energetic (and sometimes chaotic) ADHD brain, caring for plants like this is my grounding ritual. It’s a reminder to slow down, stay present, and marvel at the little wonders in life. This Ace of Spades is more than just a plant – it’s a gift of peace and inspiration. I bought this from Scott Cohen and instantly got buyer’s remorse—full-on “what have I done” mode. I kept thinking about all the other Dressleri on my wish list, like I’d just betrayed them. But this plant must’ve sensed the shade because now she’s out here looking like a luxurious green marshmallow, radiating pure confidence, like, “You doubted me? Bold move.” And yeah… she’s my favorite now. Sorry to the others.
