Sometimes a space doesn’t need a major renovation to feel completely different.

This church hallway started as simple painted cinderblock walls. Instead of treating it as an afterthought, we looked at the existing branding throughout the church and used those colors as the starting point for a cohesive paint palette and custom wall design.

From there, we developed the design, mapped out the paint plan, and brought it to life on the walls.

The result? A hallway that feels intentional, energetic, and connected to the rest of the church—not just a blank space people pass through.

This is one of my favorite parts of design: finding the potential in an ordinary space and giving it a personality of its own.

Sometimes a room doesn’t need more — it needs a better plan.
In this living room, the original built-ins were uneven in size and depth, the oversized TV cabinet created wasted space, and a large stone hearth extended nearly 2 feet into the room.

Instead of simply replacing the finishes, we stepped back and rethought the entire wall.
✨ We created symmetrical built-ins for better balance and proportion.
✨ We reclaimed valuable floor space by removing the oversized hearth.
✨ We turned previously wasted space into purposeful storage.
✨ We simplified the fireplace with lighter tile and a more refined mantle to reduce the visual weight of the room.

These are the details that can be difficult to see when you’re standing in your own home — but they make a huge difference in how a space functions, flows, and feels.
That’s where working with an interior designer can make all the difference. We’re not just choosing finishes. We’re looking at space planning, scale, proportion, function, storage, circulation, and the overall visual balance of the room to create a space that feels intentional from every angle.

If you have a room that almost works but something still feels off, it may not need more furniture or decor. It may need a better design plan.

Need help reimagining your space? We’d love to talk.

Custom window treatments can completely change the look and feel of a room—but figuring out all the details on your own? That’s where things can get overwhelming. 😅

How high should they hang?
How wide should each panel be?
What fullness is right for your windows?
Which fabric and hardware will work best?

That’s our job. 🤍

At MASH Habitat Interiors, we handle the details from start to finish. We measure your windows, determine the right drapery height and width, help you select the perfect fabric and hardware, and make sure everything is properly scaled and installed for your space.

You get to skip the measuring tape and second-guessing and go straight to enjoying the finished room. ✨

Custom window treatments can:
• Make ceilings feel taller
• Soften and filter natural light
• Add warmth, texture, and dimension
• Provide privacy and light control
• Make a room feel polished and complete

Because sometimes the finishing touch is what makes the whole room come together.
