Catching up on some builds from the beginning of the year. Yes, I know… A special gavel made for the Grand Master of Nevada. This gavel is made of acacia, teak, maple, and Bastogne walnut. Staying true to traditional builds, the handle has 3 acacia inlays at the grip and a lodge coin from the Brothers who commissioned the gavel at the end. The head is made of three layers of teak and acacia wrapped with Bastogne walnut. The head holds some of the working tools inlaid in certain areas at certain levels as well as a sterling silver Past Master’s jewel and the Navada Grand Masonic pin. Let’s also not to forget to mention the T-Rex that was inlaid into the back of the head. All of which were inlaid by hand. The bottom features a black and white checkered pattern with differentiating grain flow.
