Some buildings have more than one life...and occasionally, a starring role.

The MorningStar Oil & Gas building in downtown Fort Worth is one of those projects. Schwarz Hanson had the opportunity to restore and renovate this historic former home of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, restoring much of its original character while giving the building a new chapter.

If you've walked by, you may remember spotting classic cars, an airplane, or even a dinosaur.

Now, the building has another story to tell. It was recently featured in Paramount Television Studios, Taylor Sheridan's "The Madison," starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. There's something special about seeing a project we helped preserve become part of the backdrop for a story told on a national stage - especially one filmed right here in Fort Worth.

Great design doesn't happen by inspiration alone - it comes from observation, exploration, iteration, and thoughtful decision-making. This week in our Expedition mentoring and training program, our team used trace paper and scales to develop and build upon one another's concepts for a fictional State Park Visitor's Center, demonstrating the power of collaborative design.

A project we’ve loved being part of. Excited to see At The Oaks Coffee House coming soon, led by Project Lead, Caitlin Monk!

Something’s brewing inside the former Cannon Chinese Kitchen space, where At the Oaks Coffee House will soon take over the historic South Side bungalow.

We’ve had a great time getting out on the course recently and connecting with clients, partners, and community leaders at several outstanding golf tournaments.

We were excited to attend and play in the CREW Fort Worth "Crew de Mayo" Tournament, The Real Estate Council Scott Walker Memorial Tournament, and the Parker County Chamber of Commerce Tournament.

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors, fellow players, and our clients and business partners who invited us to play. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support these organizations and strengthen relationships across the real estate industry in Fort Worth!
