CD PAVING & SEAL COATING is showing a Chip Seal parking lot done 3 years later at a Timberview Farms in Everman TX.We are used a Hot CRS2 Tar and spread 3/8"...

Remember folks….we cut them, we spray herbicide on them, spread base over and then Chip Seal “BUT” w**ds and grass are always going to be growing on the earth and vegetation will always prevail if you don’t fight back. We always recommend you keep some Super concentrated “Round Up Pro” or RM 43 herbicide on hand, spray all your edges or anywhere you see grass or a w**d pop up. Or for the much larger driveways you can hire a w**d control company to spray the vegetation growth with a much stronger commercial grade product with a special dye (Like photos show) that only a licensed herbicide sprayer applicator can put down and usually lasts longer.. Remember the vegetation growth won’t hurt the Chip Seal if it growths thru it but if you neglected it and let it keep growing then it can hurt the driveway but that requires a lot of neglect. But in the Spring of the year and especially with the Spring rains you can see vegetation growth be more aggressive, but just keep it sprayed with herbicide or use a flame torch and you will be ok.

CD PAVING & SEAL COATING fog seal installed Jan 2nd 2026 or an over a Chip Seal road installed September of 2025 by CD PAVING & SEAL COATING. We swept loose rock and applied the fog seal to help dust on busy road and seal in rest of rock. Turned out GORGEOUS!!!
