I know Christmas isn’t even here yet but is it too soon to start talking about the New Year? I LOVE fresh beginnings. I LOVE a clean slate. I LOVE a new idea. And BOY, do I have plenty!
In January, Nest will be concentrating on FURNITURE and CLASSES. It seems like it’s going to be a nippy classic Humboldt winter this year, so my theme is going to be all about sprucing up our nests! Cleaning, redecorating and making everything cozy, the NEST way.
Let’s make a New Year’s Resolution to make our Nests into our special place where we can be creative and cozy.
I’m going to be offering several new services as well.
Color consultations for both interior and exterior.
In home painting services- small paint jobs, cabinetry, murals , stenciling, washes and furniture.
Interior decorating services. I’ve worked with designers all my life to create spaces for them that make them look good, in all budgets. Now it’s time for me to start my own decorating service. From urban, shabby chic, contemporary, to my own little Nest style, there isn’t anything I haven’t done.
As well as lots of New CLASSES!
All materials as well as snacks and wine are provided. I don’t mind two people working on one project so you can split the cost.
Pre pay to hold a seat as my classes fill up fast!
If you can’t make it, then pick another class to take.
Our last “paint your own piece” class was really popular and I’ve had requests for more! So-

Valentine’s Day class
Let’s celebrate Love! I remember my daughter was supposed to be born on the 10 th of February. By Valentine’s Day, I was really thinking how perfect it would be if she was born that day so I was running up and down stairs, chopping the wood for the fire, painting the kitchen. But no. The princess loves to stay in bed and wasn’t coming out. We eventually kicked her out on the 18 th but I still consider her my love child.
So bring a picture of some you love and let’s frame it up with paint, decoupage, stain glass mosaic and or shells and make a keepsake that you will cherish forever.
