A beautiful space is wonderful. Knowing that it makes a difference is even better. 🤎

One of the most rewarding parts of completing the main office makeover at Seymour Middle School has been hearing the feedback from those experiencing the space firsthand.

This project was an opportunity to rethink the environment, bring together thoughtful design details, and create a space that feels welcoming, polished, and intentional.

Seeing the positive response has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share some of the feedback this project has received.

For me, interior design isn't just about how a room looks. It's about how a space makes you feel when you walk into it.

That's the heart behind T.A.H. Home Decor: creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully designed around the people who use them.

Are you thinking about refreshing a room in your home or creating a more welcoming space for your business?

✨ I'd love to help you bring your vision to life!

Before the transformation came the vision. 🩶

The goal for our main office was never simply to make it “look nicer.” I wanted to create a space that felt welcoming, calming, warm and intentional — while still functioning as a busy school office.

Every element was chosen with that feeling in mind.

🌿 Nature through greenery
🤎 Warmth through wood and woven textures
🎨 Calm through a soft, grounded color palette
💧 Sound through the gentle movement of water
☕ Scent through a subtle mocha coffee-inspired fragrance
🧺 Texture through the rug, baskets and layered materials

Even the concrete-inspired elements were intentional — bringing a grounded, modern quality to the space while balancing them with softer, natural elements.
We spend so much of our lives at work. Why shouldn't the spaces we work in feel welcoming, calming and intentional, too?

This mood board was the starting point — the vision that brought all of those elements together before the transformation became reality.

✨ THE REVEAL ✨

This space started out feeling cold, institutional, and not particularly welcoming.

The goal was never simply to decorate the room.

**The goal was to bring it to life.**

I wanted to create more than a space that looked beautiful in photographs. I wanted to create an experience—a space you can **see, feel, hear, smell, and experience.**

Every detail was thoughtfully considered through the lens of the **five senses**:

👀 **SEE** — layers of greenery, warmth, color, and carefully curated details that invite your eyes to explore.

🤲 **FEEL** — the grounding texture of the concrete-look surfaces, the softness of the rug, and the layering of textures throughout the room create depth and warmth.

💧 **HEAR** — the gentle sound of flowing water from the fountain adds a calming presence to the space.

☕ **SMELL** — the comforting scent of ground mocha coffee adds warmth and familiarity, creating an atmosphere that feels inviting from the moment you enter.

🍪 **TASTE** — thoughtful touches that encourage people to pause, gather, and enjoy the space.

Because design isn't just about what a room **looks like**.

It's about **how it makes you feel.**

And that's where the details matter.

The placement.
The texture.
The balance.
The layers.
The little things you may not immediately notice—but somehow make the space feel different.

**Nothing is accidental.**

A lot of thought goes into every T.A.H. project because I believe a space should be more than decorated.

It should feel **intentional. Welcoming. Personal. Alive.**

From **cold and institutional** → to **warm, welcoming, and full of life.** 🤍

👀 A little something is happening behind the scenes…

Before the color.
Before the finishing touches.
Before the BIG reveal. 🖤

Here’s just a tiny peek at what I’ve been working on.

I’m keeping the details black & white for now… but trust me, you’re going to want to see the finished space. ✨

**The reveal is coming soon.**
