From rough to smooth! Mantle project complete!

This mantle started as heat-treated lumber full of knots, cracks, and imperfections. Not exactly “finish-ready”… but that’s where we come in.

We built it up with multiple epoxy skim coats, sanded it smooth, primed, and sprayed it to a factory-like finish.

If your trim/doors, cabinets, or built-ins look beyond saving — they’re probably not.

Big transformation on our Littleton project 🔥

All doors were removed and professionally sprayed in the garage for that smooth, factory finish. Trim and casing were sprayed in place for a seamless look throughout the home.

Prep is everything — we went through 3–4 rounds of wood filler on every nail hole and imperfection to get these surfaces dialed in before a single coat went on.

This is the difference between a quick paint job and a true finish.

Phase two of this project! Check out the finish at the end of the video! We’re now working on the top floor. Alll baseboards, doors & door casings are new & we’re just installed by amazing carpenters. We’re here to make them look as close to perfect as possible! Everything is getting 3 rounds of filling/sanding, then we will spray one coat of primer, inspect for possible final fill on all nail holes & imperfections. Smooth sand all primer, the spray two finish coats. 😆
WE LOVE CHASING PERFECTION!

Just completed final touches on this set of cabinets. Looking great with the new hardware & countertops 🙌
New doors & drawer faces really saved this kitchen!
Products used: 170TB with 5% hardener & 200 series with 10% hardener 👌
