A "w**d" I'm definitely encouraging in my garden: Lamb's Quarters!

Use lamb's quarters (a common "w**d") like spinach! It's a tasty addition to salads, smoothies, sandwiches, etc. One of my friends dehydrates to use in a shaker to add extra nutrients. I've also made it into pasta noodles.

Plus, it's a tasty snack to just nibble. It's almost addictive (not in a body dependency way - just a tantalizing taste buds way). It rarely makes it in the house because I've been devouring it in the garden (if I was a mouse, this would be my cheese).

I love this volunteer in my garden and always encourage it! Have you encountered this "w**d" before?
