The crews recently completed these wood surrounds around 4 separate AM radio towers in the Syracuse area. Each surround had to be made entirely of wood materials minus the fasteners and hardware so that the surrounds do not affect the radio signals coming from the towers themselves. This job also consisted of hand digging all the holes for the post as there is a system of wires in the ground surrounding each tower. If this site wasn’t challenging enough, the crews had to battle water flooding the area preventing access to each site. The crews did a great job regardless of the situation.
