This is Rebel Canning ....water bath for only 4 min. once water comes to a boil, To avoid soft Jalapeños. 😉

Chocolate Covered Peanuts
🥜🍫, my favorite treat 😋

2~14oz containers of salted peanuts
1 block chocolate bark
1 block white chocolate bark
1 bag Reese's baking chips

▪︎Dump all ingredients into slow cooker
▪︎Don't attempt to mix yet
▪︎ Cook on High for 1 hr, at 1 hr check and begin to stir/mix
▪︎ Continue cooking about 30min til mixture stirs well
▪︎ Using a cookie scoop, scoop onto trays lined with parchment paper, about 1/2 in apart
▪︎ Place in freezer or fridge to form & cool down
▪︎ Place in containers or Ziploc bags
▪︎ I prefer to store in fridge, but its not necessary

Beef short ribs, potato salad & cornbread for this Labor Day dinner.

Homemade "Rotel Tomatoes"
Canned 🥫
💥This recipe is for Water Bath Canning

▪︎1/2 Pint Mason jars/canning jars

▪︎15~18 Roma Tomatoes
Fresh herbs: Oregano, parsley,
▪︎2 Serrano peppers, diced
▪︎3~4 jalapeño peppers, diced
(Use how many peppers to your liking)🌡🔥
▪︎2 garlic cloves, minced
▪︎Onion powder
▪︎Coriander
▪︎ black pepper
(My seasons are measured by love, unless noted)

▪︎Canning salt(any non iodized salt- not reg table salt) 1/2 tsp per 1/2 pint jar
1/4 tsp citric acid or lemon juice per 1/2 pint jar

Once items are cut up/chopped & diced, Mix all together except salt & citric acid

▪︎ If Using lemon juice instead of citric acid(powder) put juice in jars before tomato mixture
▪︎Add mixture to canning jars
▪︎leave about 1/2 in. headspace
▪︎ pack mixture down & debubble
▪︎ add your salt & citric acid on top of mixture
▪︎ put lids & rings on, fingertip tight
▪︎ add jars to large/tall kettle
▪︎ make sure water is at least an inch over the top of your jars
▪︎ once water comes to a boil, set timer for 35 min (for 1/2 pint jars)
▪︎ once time is done, turn off burner and let sit for 10 min before taking jars out
▪︎ set jars on a towel on counter, do not disturb them. Let them sit over nite & "ping" knowing they are sealed. (Usually hear right away)
▪︎Label jars/date, enjoy

🍌Easy Banana Pudding Delight

Bananas (measure with your heart, we like alot)
1 box Banana pudding
1 reg container Cool Whip
1 box Vanilla waffer cookies

-Make your pudding according to pkg.
- Fold in whole container of Cool Whip
- Using tall casserole dish, first layer waffer cookies
- then place Bananas all over cookies
- pour a layer of pudding mixture
- add layer waffer cookies, Bananas & pudding
Make 3 layers, ending with pudding mixture on top and crumble some waffer cookies in top
- let sit in fridge for min. 4 hrs
Enjoy😋

Garden-Fresh Tomato, Black Bean & Corn Salsa

Ingredients:
2 Cups Cherry tomatoes, halved
1 small red onion, diced
1-2 green peppers, diced
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeño, diced
1 cup corn
1 Cup can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 - 1 cup cilantro, chopped
1 lime, juiced (about 2 tbsp) but add to taste
Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:
▪︎Half or quarter cherry tomatoes, add to a large bowl
▪︎dice the red onion, green peppers, jalapeño & mince the garlic cloves
▪︎ add chopped cilantro and lime juice.
To the mixture add the beans, corn and salt. Mix everything and taste for the right balance of salt and spices

🍽Crock Pot Rump Roast🍽
🍖🥔🥕

Ingredients:
▪︎3~4 lb. Rump Roast
▪︎5~7 Whole Carrots, peeled
▪︎4~ lg potatoes, skin on, cut into fours
▪︎1 pkg lipton onion soup mix
▪︎2 cups beef broth
▪︎Salt & Pepper
▪︎Olive oil

Directions:
▪︎If your roast comes netted, leave on during cooking
▪︎Rub oil on roast & coat with lipton soup mix
▪︎Place roast, potatoes & carrots in crackpot
▪︎Add broth
▪︎Salt & Pepper to liking

⭐️Cook on High for 1 hr. After 1 hr, turn to low for 6~7 hours
