Conveniently located in downtown historic Frederick, MD, we are a close drive from Baltimore, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Walk-in customers are welcome to visit, browse around our showroom and select their own lumber from the wide selection in our warehouse.

Just arrived! Check out this pallet of beautiful figured Black and White Ebony ( Diospyros malabarica ), also known as Pale Moon Ebony.

It is a rare exotic from Southeast Asia, and its striking black-and-white contrasting streaks are sought after by luthiers for fingerboards, headplates, drop tops, and bridge blanks. It is also used for knife handles, turned objects, and other ornamental items.

We have it in 2x2 and 3x3 turning squares, and in boards ranging from 5/8” – 1 ¼” thick.

Check out this stunning mid-century modern credenza, built by Danny Zito and designed by Foureyes Furniture

Solid walnut and quarter sawn white oak, with doors and drawers milled from a single piece of 6/4 white oak, resawn and book matched for that gorgeous continuous grain. The case is mitered to create a waterfall pattern right across the corner, and aside from the drawer bottoms and case back, it's solid wood all the way through. Finished with Qwerk Tools Sample 73 hard wax oil for a warm, natural look.

A beautiful Roubo split top workbench crafted by Chris Hartman. The top is quarter sawn European beech, the base is maple and the rest is walnut. It was finished with Osmo Polyx oil.

A Roubo workbench is a heavy, traditional woodworking bench originating from an 18th-century treatise by French cabinetmaker André-Jacob Roubo. It is celebrated for its massive thickness, its lack of overhanging aprons, and its exceptional work-holding capabilities ie a large vise and holdfasts for holding down the workpiece.
