Come on Springtime and warmer temperatures. We have been busy this winter and here is one of our recent projects.
We constructed this new driveway and walkway for one of our new friends in Urbana, Maryland.
We removed the existing asphalt driveway with narrow concrete walkway and built this beautiful paver driveway & leadwalk with landing.
Pavers used are Techo-Bloc Eva 'Shale Grey' pavers with Blu 60 'charcoal' border.

We worked with 2 'villa' neighbors, in the Boxwood neighborhood of Urbana, to design and build walkways and landscaping to create more interest for the front of the houses. Each neighbor had different visions for each of their front walkways so larger, more inviting walkways were designed for each homeowner. The front landscaping was designed to create a cohesive design that blended both front yards together. Pictures showing the new landscaping will be added in the future.

Let us look at a very involved outdoor project we designed & built in the new Woodlands neighborhood of Urbana.
We removed the builder installed small landing and steps so we could install a sun deck connected to the screened in deck. We added steps from the deck to the new paver patio along with low voltage lighting for the deck & steps. A retaining wall was required to support the new patio because of the sloped backyard. The sitting walls were installed for privacy, fall protection and for a cool enclosed patio look.
In the Front yard, we installed paver driveway extensions to both sides of the driveway to allow for easier parking and of course dry shoes.

Happy February. We need to play some catch-up and show some of the beautiful projects we designed and built this past year.
Here is the first one. This patio in the Village of Urbana will allow for a young family to enjoy their backyard and the outdoors. The Classic Clay Brick paver stones give a beautiful traditional look to this backyard. The border pattern details were requested by the homeowner and add to the design for sure.

Urbana is a very nice area of Frederick, Maryland and we are proud of the work we have installed here. This existing deck had many defects: it was a bad design with multiple steps within the deck, and rotted framing lumber. We removed the existing deck, designed and built a beautiful single level deck that will be inviting and useable for many, many years. The black railings of the new deck open up the views and allow the homeowners to enjoy the woods views like they have not in the past.

Today is deck and patio day. We removed an existing deck and patio that was not in good condition. We good design thoughts & great craftsmen who work for Metro Landscape & Construction, Inc, we created this beautiful backyard space. To further add to the beauty of the space, we installed a vented soffit ceiling underneath the deck. Look at the way the finished ceiling underneath the deck really adds to the patio space. There are so many options available for all these projects.

Today is deck day. We added a landing with steps to this screened porch. We also reframed the porch in order to add a door and adjust the screening. The new steps lead to a comfortable patio with sitting wall. Stargazing will be part of the night time activities at this house in the Woodlands, Frederick.

We have met many wonderful people in the Woodlands neighborhood of Frederick and this client along with their neighbors are part of the group. This project included a couple patios, ornamental gravel underneath the deck and a lot of beautiful plants. We installed Techo-Bloc Smooth Blu 60 'chestnut brown' pavers with a brown border.

We have designed and built quite a few projects in the Woodlands neighborhood of Frederick. We just finished this new large patio with sitting wall. A special bonus with this project is the vented soffit ceiling we installed underneath the deck. This vented soffit creates a finished ceiling for the patio and also will help to keep birds from building nests underneath the deck.
We installed Techo-Bloc Smooth Blu 60 'champlain grey' pavers with a charcoal border.
Sitting wall is Techo-Bloc Mini-Creta 'champlain grey' with charcoal Architectural caps.

One of our wonderful clients lives in Landsdale and here are pictures of this new Paver walkway & driveway extension. This project used Techo-Bloc Eva 'champlain grey' pavers with a charcoal border and our charcoal London Steps.
