May, you were gentle magic. 🌿✨

Thank you for the wildflowers, birdsong, buzzing bees, warm sunshine, muddy garden hands, fresh strawberries, and evenings that felt like they could last forever.

As we welcome a new month, may we carry a little more softness, slowness, healing, and wonder with us. Nature always reminds us that growth doesn’t have to be rushed. 🌼

With love,

There’s something so magical about stepping outside and gathering healing straight from your own garden 🌿✨

A tea garden is more than pretty plants—it’s peace, wellness, and intention growing right at your fingertips. From calming chamomile and relaxing lavender to refreshing mint and nourishing nettle, each plant brings its own little gift to your daily ritual.

Imagine starting your morning with fresh lemon balm tea or winding down at night with chamomile and lavender 💛

At Roots and Remedies, we believe healing begins at home—sometimes with a single seed.

What would be the first herb in your tea garden? 🌱☕👇

Sunday mornings are a gentle reminder that not everything needs to be rushed. Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is sit still, listen to the birds, sip our coffee slowly, and let ourselves simply be.

Healing happens in the quiet moments.
Peace grows when we choose presence over pressure.
Rest is not laziness—it’s necessary.

Today, give yourself permission to slow down.
Breathe deeper. Stay softer. Find joy in the simple things.

Happy Sunday from Roots and Remedies 🌿✨

🌿 All plants are edible… some only once. 😏

Nature is powerful, beautiful, and sometimes a little dangerous. Learning plant wisdom means respecting both the healing and the harm.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas out there 🌿💚✨

To the women who hold it all together, love endlessly, give selflessly, and still somehow remember where everyone’s stuff is… this one’s for YOU.

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, magical, chaotic, and sometimes calls for a little extra herbal support 😉🌱

At Roots and Remedies, we celebrate the moms who nurture everyone around them while learning to protect their own peace too.

Because self-care isn’t selfish.
Rest is productive.
And sometimes the best medicine is laughter, community, and a little plant-powered calm 💨💚

Reminder:
A happy mom = a happier home 💕

So today, take the nap.
Buy the plant.
Light the candle.
Spark a little joy.
And know—you are doing an incredible job.

Strong. Resilient. Compassionate. Maybe a little lit.
That’s Mom Magic ✨

🌿 Plant Spotlight: Begonia Maculata 🌿
✨ Also known as the beautiful Polka Dot Begonia ✨

This stunning houseplant is a true showstopper with its deep green leaves covered in silver polka dots and rich red undersides. It brings beauty, elegance, and a little drama to any indoor plant collection!

🌱 Care Tips:
☀️ Bright, indirect light — avoid harsh direct sun
💧 Keep soil lightly moist, but never soggy
💦 Loves humidity — the more, the better!
🌡️ Prefers warm temps between 65–80°F
🪴 Use well-draining soil with good airflow
🌿 Feed monthly during spring and summer

🪴 Planting Tips:
Choose a pot with drainage holes and use a light, airy potting mix. Keep her cozy in a bright spot where she can thrive.

✂️ Propagation:
Begonia Maculata is easy to propagate by stem cuttings!

1️⃣ Cut a healthy stem with 1–2 nodes
2️⃣ Place in water or moist soil
3️⃣ Wait for roots to develop
4️⃣ Pot up your new baby plant and watch it grow!

🌸 Garden Tip:
Rotate your plant every couple of weeks for even growth and fuller foliage.

She may be dramatic, but she’s worth it 💚

🌿 Gardening is more than just growing plants… it’s healing for the body, mind, and soul. 🌿

At Roots and Remedies, we believe time in the garden is one of the best forms of therapy. Digging, planting, weeding, and nurturing life around us helps strengthen our bodies while calming our minds.

✨ Gardening can:
🌱 Relieve stress
🌱 Boost your mood
🌱 Improve focus
🌱 Encourage mindfulness
🌱 Support strength, balance, and mobility
🌱 Reconnect us with nature and ourselves

Sometimes the best remedy isn’t found in a bottle—it’s found with your hands in the soil, the sun on your face, and peace in your heart. 💚

What’s growing in your garden right now? Drop a photo below—I’d love to see! 🌸🌿
