New chalk pastels by local artist Kayla Freeland
A collection of small works by local artist Carol Phifer
And Fall is starting to trickle into the shop ~ we couldn’t be happier.

It was a nice surprise meeting Ray and Christian today with We Are Fredericksburg. They stopped in for the first time today after reading our “cute things and good smells” sign. Stop by Whitby’s to see us and give them a follow!

Today after lunch, we walked past this cute little shop called Whitby's, located at 703 Caroline street, just across the street from the Fredericksburg Visitors center. Whitby's opened in November, and as with everything Fredericksburg, there is a story. Lindsey, the owner, grew up in the area, then started her teaching career as an art teacher working with K-12 students. She has taught in the Richmond area and Stafford. After covid, she decided to make a change and take the risk to fulfilling her dream to open up a store. She named the store after her Grandmother. Its stories like this that make our community so special. It means something to support great people. This short visit made our afternoon and reminded us why We Are Fredericksburg!

Hey everyone and happy fall! Our hours are remaining the same for now - Mondays and Tuesdays we will be closed. BUT! We’re open later on Fridays and Saturdays til 8pm for ya.

Thanks for sticking with us while we figure out the best hours for our business this first year! (It’s almost been a year..can you believe it?!)
