We have some sad news to share. On January 23rd we said our last goodbye to our sweet Bailey. We know he will be missed by so many of you who knew him. This is a tribute to him, our handsome guy. These images are only a small portion of what we have collected over Bailey’s 12 years. He was always found sprawled out in the weirdest places, not a care in the world, or curled up in any makeshift bed of his choosing. He loved to find his people in the greenhouse or the office. He loved getting special attention from our guests and was happy to greet them with a gentle head-butt. He would commonly investigate carts at the checkout or step into ladies’ purses on the counter. We have a strict “no water cups left unattended” rule because of Bailey’s radar senses for finding and tipping them over. He was always bringing in mulch and leaves on his fur, not caring to remove them, embracing the “dirty boy” title we lovingly gave him. A loud purrer, a loyal companion to his sister, a perfect ambassador for our nursery. He was not a very good mouser, but he earned his keep in every other way. Lots of people loved him.
Many of you may be wondering how Domino is doing without Bailey… She’s doing well. She’s okay. She’s been getting lots of extra snuggle time and she still enjoys her usual adventures.
As we head into Spring, we look forward to seeing all of your faces and enjoying beautiful things. We’ll think of Bailey often.
