Before, during and after 100 yr old olive replacement. New 200 gallon yaupons are a much better choice for this area.

Removing some 100+ year old olives we brought in from California and installed a few years ago. Despise our research the client was optimistic that they’d make it here. They looked amazing for a short period. All the efforts were made to keep them alive during the cold but Mother Nature won. Now to install some nice Hollys that will last a lifetime and make this area beautiful again.

Severe cold is headed for Texas Saturday- monday. Turn off those sprinkler controllers if you havnt. Your pipes will NOT freeze underground and you do NOT need to have them blown out. If we installed your irrigation you do not have an above ground backflow that needs to be drained. We don’t use those for this reason. Drip those faucets, wrap those pipes and certain plants . If you are one of our full service clients this has all been done . Stay warm folks.

A few days ago there were 25 large sick/ dead live oak trees right here. No ruts, no stumps, no damage to irrigation whatsoever was left behind. Clients could not be happier. We already planning a new grove of trees to be planted in the fall.

Here’s to celebrating 10 years with Viridis lawnscape and irrigation llc! Gary has become quite the right hand man heading up the lawn maintenance portion of the company. While always being there work wise he is one of the best dads and husbands I have ever seen. We thoroughly appreciate his dedication throughout the years. Here’s to many more years buddy- 🍻
