Good morning, everyone! I hope you all are as excited about the weather as I am. Finally! Warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine!

So I just have a couple of reminders...

#1. The sign on the front door is 100% accurate... I am still not accepting any new consignment items and I am still not currently buying anything. So showing up with 'stuff' then trying to lay a guilt trip on me for not accepting your 'stuff' will not work. 😉 I am up to my eyeballs in 'stuff'. I'm trying to progress not regress.

#2. The Treasure Chest will be closed next week, June 2nd through June 7th. There is a possibility that I might make it back on Sunday, early enough to come open up, but for now I'm going to play it safe and say I'll be closed.

So, if I don't see you this weekend I will see you when I return!

I would just like to thank every one of my amazing customers, aka friends, that came in this week and/or messaged me to let me know that they hope my family and I have a wonderful weekend together and that they're also happy about my upcoming 'surprise' vacation.
Those that know me well know that closing for even just half a day doesn't set well with me. But, my better half was determined to make time for us to just take a break and he did just that.
Thank you. I'm excited for the trip and the opportunity to recharge, come back and get back to work with a fresh mind, body and soul.

I truly love learning more about my customers ~ well maybe not all the time ~ there have been a few times that I've been told a few stories that have left my jaw on the floor. Yep, TMI! 🤣 But I just found out one of my customers owns a small bakery business and I am so excited to try out some of her specialties! And it's even more awesome because I love supporting other small business owners that are doing the same thing I am ~ following their dream.

So my family is bunch of crazy "Buckeyes" and we'll be getting together next weekend for a special family get together. So, Sarah, the owner of Sweet Deeds Bakery, will be making us some fresh 'buckeyes' and a buckeye roll for the occasion. 😋 I cannot wait to try them!

So I have a few announcements to make...

#3 - Please plan ahead ~~~ The Treasure Chest will also be closed June 2nd through the 6th. Sorry for the short notice but I just recently found out myself. ☺️

And on a side note ~ as of this moment the road is NOT closed in front of the shop, however, there is still NO PARKING allowed on E 1st Street.

As usual, I'm open until 5pm. Making a mess to make it marvelous!

So I've got some good news and I've got some not so good news.
The good news... the new Crossroads Candles arrived a day early! I ordered so many new awesome scents. So come on in and pick out your favorite! 🕯
The not so good news... it looks like they'll be closing the road, in front of my shop, to all traffic tomorrow. They set up signs before calling it quits for the day. So you might need to park on Main Street and walk up unless you can sneak in the back way and park in my customer's lot. 😉

Panacea Farmgirl plans to bring in an assortment of fresh bouquets every Thursday. They will be wrapped and ready to go with prices starting at $12.
Perfect for gift giving, sprucing up your patio or dining table or cheering up a friend.
~ The ladies that were here yesterday, when the sample bouquet was brought in, absolutely loved it!

So keep checking back... As soon as we have our first delivery, I will let you all know. This is so exciting!!!
