Greenlawn Sprinkler LLC of New Jersey is expanding! We have an immediate opening for the Spring 2022 season.

We are a family owned lawn sprinkler company servicing the greater Monmouth county area.

We have a position available for general office staff / office manager (in-training).

This is a full-time seasonal position (March – November). The office shuts down during winter months.

EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT YOU MUST HAVE GREAT PEOPLE SKILLS.

Greenlawn Sprinkler, LLC will aggressively train you to perform the necessary job requirements as: scheduling appointments, providing general customer service, coordination with company field employees, filing township permits, data entry, general QuickBooks accounting (processing invoices and payments, account receivables, account payables.

We offer training to get you up to speed. You'll learn our culture, customer interaction and get an overview of our entire system and processes. Our training is designed to help you excel and get you comfortable quickly.

This position is not for everyone. This is customer service. Although we pride ourselves on providing exception customer service, you will encounter the occasional “upset customer”. Yet we still need to be calm and polite while providing the best service to our clients. The office gets VERY BUSY during the start and end of the season. You must be able to multi-task under stress.

I bitter sweet goodbye. I'm letting go of my first major investment in Greenlawn Sprinkler. This vehicle started it all 20 years ago. It gave her all to the business just as my family and our valued employees. But, the time has come to trade her up for a new one.

We provide online, classroom & field training to get you up to speed before you even set foot in the field.

BUT, this is hard work. This is manual labor. We work in rain, heat and humidity. We work Monday-Saturday. We work long days. You have a lot of responsibility.

What we look for:
We look for people who have "Team Player" mentalities.
We look for people who are Eager to work. Not dread it.
We look for people who love life and wake up every morning ready to take on the day.
We look for CONFIDENT, CAREER oriented people.

We don't want:

Negative and unhappy people
Someone who is already thinking about what time their work day will end when they first get to work.

Non experienced candidates will start as Level 1 Apprentice. This requires online training over the winter as well as classroom and shop training. When the season starts in late March/early April, your field training begins. After 30 days of field training, you will be evaluated for Level 2 "Service Technician". Level 2 certification includes pay raise and commission structure compensation.

This is a great opportunity with a great company. Not every applicant will be accepted. We do a thorough reference check of your previous employers and we do drug test.

I know it's Sunday and I don't want to bother you but because of GreenLawn I've just accomplished something that hasn't been done in my family in a very very long time I just financed my first dealership car, and I remembered our talk last year when you took me to a couple jobs you told me to stay focused and eventually everything will start to make sense I'm not sure where I'm going with this but I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity it really has changed my life for the better financially and mentally.

I received this from one of my employees this morning. I had to share. Being a business owner can be one of the hardest things, but it's when something like this happens, I wouldn't want to be doing anything else with my life. Congratulations Steve. The next text like this from you will be for a home for your family.
