I waited two years to take a sniff at the amazing fragrance of Gloire de Guilan. Growing back in India we were surrounded by paneer rose and I fancied the hybrid roses more than the desi roses. But now surrounded by hybrid roses, I started craving for the desi roses. Special thanks to usha akka for educating on the fragrant roses that are used in rose attar and inspiring to grow one of the three varieties used in making attar.
