For the past 21 years, Trench Drain Systems has combined the expertise of a national leader with the personalized service of a local, family-owned business. Headquartered right here in Sandusky County, they provide drainage solutions for projects of every size, from residential driveways to major commercial and infrastructure developments across North America and beyond.
Built on expertise, innovation, and trust, the team goes beyond simply selling products. They provide free project consultations, engineering support, and CAD layout assistance to help customers find the right solution while making the process as smooth as possible. Their goal is simple: every customer should feel valued, supported, and confident from start to finish.
One of their proudest milestones has been growing from a national distributor into a manufacturer. They're also currently supplying nearly 10 miles of drainage products for the largest project in the company's history—a major tunnel connecting the Virginia mainland to Virginia Beach—showcasing how a company rooted in Sandusky County is making an impact on projects across the country.
A key part of the company's continued success is the leadership team behind it. Vice President of Sales & Marketing Kristie Pohlman (right) and Vice President of Operations Cliff Pohlman (left) are honored to help bring Owner Michael Schroer's vision to life, building on the strong foundation he created while driving innovation, expanding operations, and supporting the company's long-term growth.
