Completed this summer, our Eagle Point Residence on San Juan Island began with the goal of integrating the main home into a very difficult building site on a steep hill with lots of bedrock. Designed in three parts, the center acts as a bridge across a giant slab of exposed rock. The original structure, a guest cabin with a living roof as well as a hot tub, now sit beside the main home. Features both interior and exterior windows for capturing the incredible natural light reflected off the Salish Sea. Corrugated metal siding and fiber cement panels with a proprietary finish were selected for extreme weather exposure durability and low maintenance. 2,200 sq. ft.
